How to Read Your Cirface Proposal & Statement of Work (SOW)

A simple guide to help you understand your Cirface proposal and SOW—what’s included, what to look for, and what comes next.

You just received a proposal and SOW from Cirface—great! This means we’ve taken everything we’ve learned about your team, your workflows, and your goals, and translated it into a scoped project plan.

This article walks you through how to review the documents without getting overwhelmed.

📝 Your Proposal: The Strategic Overview

Think of the proposal as the “what and why” of the engagement. It provides context, strategy, and a high-level view of what we’re helping you solve.

You’ll find:

  • Executive Summary: The big picture—why this project matters and what outcomes we’re targeting.

  • Workflow Breakdown: A clear outline of the workflows or teams we’re addressing.

  • Deliverables: The specific things you’ll receive—like templates, training, or dashboards.

  • Timeline: A phase-by-phase roadmap with start dates and project duration.

  • Pricing Summary: Clear breakdown of service packages, add-ons, and any discounts.

  • License Details (if applicable): Number of seats, cost per seat, and what's included in your Asana license through Cirface .

📌 Tip: Start by reviewing the Workflow Optimization example —it’s a quick snapshot of our delivery method and what to expect each week.

📃 The Statement of Work (SOW): The Formal Agreement

The SOW is the “how and when”. It turns the proposal into a working agreement that governs your engagement with Cirface.

Here’s what to focus on:

  • Scope of Work (Page 2): Outlines the core services you’re receiving, like Workflow Optimization, Training, or Support.

  • Deliverables: What Cirface commits to delivering—like workshops, recordings, training, or dashboards.

  • Timeline (Page 2): Start/end dates or estimated project hours (usually ranges from 4–10 weeks depending on complexity).

  • Fees (Page 1 & 4): Total cost, rate per hour, and how support hours are billed (fixed, monthly, or milestone-based).

  • Terms (Pages 4–6): Includes refund policies, expense handling, timeline extensions, and how scope changes are managed.

📌 Tip: If the timeline or deliverables change during the project, a new or amended SOW will be issued.
