Discovery Findings: What Cirface Delivers After Workflow Mapping

Learn what deliverables you’ll receive after Cirface completes discovery, including workflow mapping, future-state design, and what gets built in Asana.

Before we build anything in Asana, we align with you on how things should work. That starts with our discovery process—and ends with a fully mapped workflow system built in Miro, so everyone agrees on what we’re solving before we touch your workspace.

This article explains what you’ll receive and how it sets the foundation for your implementation.

What We Deliver After Discovery

All findings and recommendations are presented visually in your Miro Discovery Board. This board is your team’s source of truth and includes:

1. Current State Workflow

  • A visual map of how your processes work today

  • Includes handoffs, blockers, tools, task owners, and edge cases

  • Reflects actual working conditions based on your walkthroughs and submitted workflows

2. Future State Workflow

  • A clean, proposed version of how your workflow should work

  • Highlights simplifications, automation opportunities, and tool consolidation

  • Acts as the functional spec for what we build in Asana

3. Asana Build Spec

  • A structural preview of your future Asana system

  • Includes:

    • Proposed team and project structure

    • Key fields (custom fields, rules, templates)

    • Naming conventions and role responsibilities

  • Organized by team and use case

4. Reporting & Governance Planning

  • Early outline of reporting needs (project, portfolio, executive-level)

  • Roles, permissions, and audit considerations

  • Input for naming standards, access controls, and future training

Why This Matters

Without clear discovery documentation, teams often move into Asana building too fast—leading to disjointed systems, poor adoption, and missed outcomes.

Our Miro board is your alignment checkpoint. It ensures:

  • We’ve captured the right pain points

  • We’re proposing the right solution

  • You’re involved in what gets built—not just how it looks

Once you sign off on the future state, our build process begins.
