Authentication Options in Asana
Asana offers several authentication methods to secure user access:

Single Sign-On (SSO): Integrate with identity providers using SAML 2.0 for centralized authentication management.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Enhance security by requiring a second verification step during login.

Password Policies: Enforce strong password requirements and periodic resets to maintain account security.
Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
To enable 2FA for your Asana account:

Click on your profile photo in the top right corner and select My Settings.

Navigate to the Account tab.

Click on Two-Factor Authentication.

Verify your password when prompted.

Scan the displayed QR code using an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator).

Enter the verification code generated by the app to complete the setup.
Note: If you previously signed in using Google SSO, you'll need to set a password by selecting "Forgot My Password" during login to enable 2FA.
Biometric Authentication on Mobile Devices
Asana's mobile applications support biometric authentication for added security:

Supported Biometrics: Fingerprint and facial recognition, depending on device capabilities.

Setup: Users can enable biometric authentication within the Asana mobile app settings.

Functionality: Once enabled, users can access the app using their registered biometric data, streamlining the login process.
Biometric Authentication on Desktop
As of now, Asana does not support biometric authentication on desktop applications. Users are required to log in using traditional methods such as passwords, SSO, or 2FA.
